Luftgekühlt is back for its second year at the Chattanooga Motorcar Festival, once again showcasing a legendary mix of Porsche heritage and motorsport prestige. This year, the spotlight falls on racing legend David Hobbs and the iconic Porsche 935 K4-01 he drove in the 1982 IMSA GT class. The Kremer Brothers built the 935 K4 inspired by the famed Porsche factory “Moby Dick” 935 built in 1978. The K4-01 was only one of two produced and is sure to captivate enthusiasts, embodying the soul of endurance racing and the unmistakable roar of air-cooled engineering.

Join us for an evening with David Hobbs at the Chattanooga Motorcar Festival. On Friday, we’ll host an air-cooled gathering featuring Hobbs’ 935 K4-01 and other legendary cars he raced against.
Space is limited; all vehicles must be registered to access the featured lot.
Each driver and passenger must have a ticket to enter the gathering and reception.

An email with additional event details and entry instructions will be sent to all participants on Monday, 10/7. For pre-planning purposes, drivers can load into the feature lot from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM.
Your ticket lets you enjoy all three days of the Chattanooga Motorcar Festival!
Drivers and passengers arriving in an air-cooled Porsche will enter the Festival at 6th St and Pine St; there will be a checkpoint where your passes will be distributed. Please ensure you have proof of purchase of your ticket on your phone.
If you are just attending the reception, a registration table will be at the Westin Roy McDonald Jr Outdoor Terrace for pick up.
